⛪ A Gen Z Religious Revival: 250 Hours of Worship in Kentucky (Spotify)

I loved this podcast episode? I just like the idea of a modern revival for GenZ. Also available on: Apple Podcast and Audacy. "For the past two weeks, tens of thousands of people, most of them college students, poured into a small chapel at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky..."

🔈 The Art of Manliness: Throw a 2-Hour Cocktail Party That Can Change Your Life

Perhaps the best interview I've ever done? I was flooded with feedback afterwards and hello to new readers who found me from there! I'm going to link it below, too.

▶ Kolkata, India - Bazaar Travels featuring Barkha Singh (YouTube)

For some strange reason I want to go to Kolkata, India. Foreigners mostly go to Mumbai and Delhi, but I'm curious about India's other side. I spent an hour trying to find a good YouTube travel vlog from Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) and this is hands-down the best. English subtitles. Fun cute Bollywood host.

Mostly neon but I'm working on upgrading my wardrobe!

also-- Houston, Texas: I'm going to Houston on March 27th and 28th for a book tour! Tell me if you're in town, or know someone I can invite.

Listen to this: The Art of Manliness

If you only listen to ONE podcast episode with me, may I humbly suggest this one? Here's why:

  • TONS of new friends reached out about how much they loved it
  • Two long-time close friends said it was my best interview ever
  • I got hundreds of new book sales from this one interview

"Nick knows what you're thinking: you don't throw parties, and hosting them is simply not for you. But, he would encourage you not to tune out. He's got a great case for why you should give this idea a try, and just as he does in his book. Nick is going to lay out exactly how to throw a party that's low stakes and low effort, but will be high successful in helping you build all kinds of connections."

My Zoom Meetup in April

I'm hosting a short (15 mins) Zoom Meetup for readers of my Friends Newsletter. Small groups and I will lead an icebreaker. See my favorite home gadgets and meet other readers. I've done a few of these as experiments recently and they are SUPER fun. Come say Hello for a few minutes? Sign up here. All times in Texas time:

The End

Thanks for reading my Friends Newsletter.

I'm so swamped and a bit fried right now. But I'm excited for my first real SXSW. Austin feels electric today. I stayed up until 1AM last night helping a VC firm with their Grand Opening party (see my video on Twitter). Other companies have been reaching out to hire me to help with their conferences and networking events, which is fun.

My sleep is all off and my calendar is quickly filling up... but each day I get to talk to readers of my book who say that it changed their lives. Literally just got off the phone with someone from Miami who said "your advice helped me host the best dinner party I've ever done." And last week a girl in Saudi Arabia hosted a party using my book, the first one in Saudi!

Doing this "party book thing" is the most fulfilling work I've ever done and I love it. Thank you for reading my newsletter and for your support.

🤠 Nick Gray
